Code Name Kids Next Door Operation Bleach

One afternoon, Ichigo Kurosaki is walking down Elm Street when he sees a little girl being attacked by five adults. He runs over as fast as he can and kicks one of adults in the face. He calls 911 and says, “Hello, there are a bunch of ugly losers on Elm Street and they look extremely hurt. One of them has a broken arm and one’s leg has been twisted. All their faces are covered in bruises.” One of the adults gets really angry.

“Hey, you punk!” he says to Ichigo. “Who do you think you are?”

“I was just minding my own business, but you morons were being too loud,” Ichigo replies. The adults try to attack him, but one by one Ichigo beats them up.

“I can’t believe we got beat up by a teenager!” says one of them.

“Are you okay?” Ichigo asks the little girl.

“Yes, I’m fine,” she replies. She is surprised that a teenager saved her.

“My name is Sonia,” she says. Ichigo wants to tell her his name, but for some reason he can’t remember it.

Meanwhile, on one of the Kids Next Door’s bases, Number One and Number 362 walk into the science lab.

“How’s the report?” Number One asks.

“This is a strange weapon, I can’t quite figure out what it is,” one of the scientists says.

Back on Elm Street, Ichigo and Sonia are walking in the park.

“You don’t remember your name?” Sonia asks.

“Yeah, it’s weird. None of this place looks familiar for me.”

“I’m sure you will remember it sooner or later,” Sonia says. Suddenly, Big Brother appears in the park. He has a hole in his chest and he is wearing a mask. He transforms into a hollow as Sonia and Ichigo watch. Ichigo grabs Sonia’s hand and they run.

“What is that thing?” Sonia asks.

“I don’t know, but we have to run!” Ichigo replies. They try to run away from him, but he is too fast. Big Brother tries to attack Sonia, but Ichigo shields her and tells her to run.     “Nobody runs from Big Brother,” he says.

“Darn it!” Ichigo thinks to himself. “Why can’t I remember that mask? I have to beat him…I need to win!”

Back on the Kids Next Door’s base, the Zanpakuto is glowing. Number 362 asks, “What’s going on?”

“We don’t know,” replies one of the scientists. “It’s glowing out of control.” All of a sudden, the Zanpakuto shoots out of the base. It lands in Ichigo’s hand. With the sword in his hand, Ichigo starts to remember who he is. He saya the words Bankai and Tensa Zangetsu and he once again becomes a Soul Reaper.

“You think you have a fancy sword? I’ll break that sword in half!” says Big Brother. But Ichigo blocks him with the sword.

“You call yourself Big Brother?” Ichigo says. “Do you know what a Big Brother should do? He should protect his family. But you are just a bully.” And with that, Ichigo knocks him out. Sonia is surprised at how strong Ichigo is.

“I finally remember who I am,” Ichigo tells Sonia.

“What’s your name?” Sonia asks.

“Substitute Soul Reaper, Ichigo Kurosaki.”

“I have to go now,” says Sonia. “Thanks for saving my life.”

“You’re welcome,” Ichigo replies. Sonia leaves to go back home. “Where am I?” Ichigo thinks to himself. “This place looks really weird.” He sets off to find somewhere that looks familiar to him.

Big Brother is still lying on the ground when a teenager approaches him. The teenager is carrying a sword with an eye on it.

“Well, well, Big Brother,” the teenager says. “I’m actually disappointed in you.”

“Cut me some slack, will you?” Big Brother says.

“I’ll cut you some slack all right,” says the teenager. He raises his sword and chopps Big Brother’s head off.

The next day, Number One and his team are investigating some strange activity at a football stadium.

“The Adults are up to something, and it’s up to us to figure out what it is,” Number One says to the others.

“They’re always up to no good,” Number Four follows. All of a sudden, one of the Adults appears in the bleachers.

“Well, well, well…what do we have here? A couple of brats.”

“What are you Adults up to this time?” Number One asks.

“We are here to destroy the Kids Next Door once and for all,” the Adult says. As they are talking, a group of Hollows suddenly enter the stadium.

“What are those things?” Number Two asks.

“It doesn’t matter what they are,” Number One says. “We have to get rid of them.”

Meanwhile, outside the football stadium, Ichigo has the feeling that something isn’t right.

“The feeling is coming from that football stadium,” he thinks to himself. He walks into the football stadium and sees the Hollows surrounding a group of kids. He quickly destroys all the Hollows in just a few seconds using flash step. Number

One points a blaster at Ichigo and says, “Hold it right there, teenager!” “Hold on a minute,” says Ichigo.

“What’s going on?” he thinks to himself. “Why is that kid pointing that blaster at me? And why do I have this feeling that whatever I say or do I won’t get through to him?”

“No, no, no!” the Adult says. “This isn’t supposed to happen. These monsters are supposed to be invincible!”

“What are you talking about?” Ichigo asks the Adult. “You want to know what’s going on? Fine, I’ll tell you.” But before he could explain more, the adult is stabbed in the back. It’s the same teenager who just killed Big Brother.

“Thank goodness,” the teenager says. “I thought he’d never shut up. But now he’s going to die and he’ll never open his big mouth again.” With that, he throws the Adult into the ground, smirking.

    “Who are you?” Ichigo asks.

“The name is Haxis,” the teenager says. “Don’t take it personally with those kids. You see, they’re in an organization called The Kids Next Door. They all fight evil adults and teenagers. And because you’re a teenager yourself, they see you as an enemy.”

“I don’t know what’s going on,” Number One interrupts. “But I really don’t like you. Drop the sword!”

“Oh, that’s not going to be fun,” Haxis says. “What are you fighting for, really?” Haxis asks Number One. “Once a kid turns thirteen, The Kids Next Door will decommission them and throw them away like trash.”

“That’s enough,” Ichigo says, interrupting Haxis. “I don’t know who you really are, but I know this. If what you say is true about The Kids Next Door and you think killing is fun, I’m going to have to stop you.” Haxis starts laughing.

“Now we’re talking,” says Haxis. “Let’s get straight to the fighting now, shall we Ichigo Kurosaki?” Ichigo and Haxis start to fight, each moving very fast. While they fight, Ichigo thinks, “What’s with this guy? It’s like he’s enjoying fighting.”

“You’re really good at this, Ichigo,” Haxis says. “You can actually keep up with me, and I really like that.” As they fight, Number One uses a yoyo to wrap a string around Haxis’ arm, giving Ichigo the opening he needs to attack Haxis. Haxis blocks Ichigo, but he falls onto the ground in the process. Number One looks at Ichigo. Ichigo isn’t sure what to do or say, and Haxis is already getting up and dusting himself off.

“Well, this is unexpected,” Haxis says. “You just helped a teenager with his fight.”

“Please,” says Number One. “I’m only interested in taking you down. What is your true objective?”

“Well, if I had to choose, it’d be seeing this world burn.” Haxis puts his sword into the ground, starting a massive earthquake. Number One orders his team to run and they are able to escape, but Number One is losing his balance. Ichigo quickly grabs Number One and uses flash step to escape. The stadium is on fire and burning out of control. Once they get outside of the city, Ichigo lies Number One down on his back.

“I still don’t trust you,” Number One says. But Ichigo is too busy watching the destruction of the stadium. “He wasn’t kidding,” Ichigo says. “He really wants to see this world burn.”

Meanwhile, Haxis leaves the stadium, skipping and whistling to himself. The next day, Number Three and Number Five take a trip to a rainbow monkey toy store. As they walk into the store, Number Three sings the rainbow monkey theme song. She is so excited to get a new rainbow monkey doll, and Number Five has come along for the trip. She picks out her new doll and skips over to the register to buy it. As she is paying, she looks out the window and sees Ichigo fighting Hollows in the street. Ichigo destroys all the Hollows.

“Where are all these Hollows coming from?” he thinks to himself. Number Three and Number Five join Ichigo on the street.

“Hey,” Number Three says to Ichigo. “What are you fighting?”

    “They’re called Hollows,” replies Ichigo.

“Yeah right,” Number Five says. Just then, even more Hollows appear. Number Five grabs Number Three’s hand and they run. Ichigo stays behind and destroys all the Hollows with ease. He looks down and sees Number Three’s rainbow monkey doll lying on the street. “Rainbow monkey?” Ichigo thought to himself.

Meanwhile, on a strange island, a Hollow is talking to his leader.

“We tried to devour the human souls, but a Soul Reaper stopped us.”

“And who is this Soul Reaper?” the leader asks.

“Well, you see, he’s a teenager,” the Hollow replies.

“A teenager did this?!” the leader says, bursting with anger. “If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.”

Back on the street outside the rainbow monkey store, Number Three and Number Five have returned to look for Number Three’s rainbow monkey doll.

“Where is my new rainbow monkey doll?” she asks.

“You must have dropped it,” Number Five says.  As they look for the doll, Ichigo appears on the street.

“What do you want?” Number Five asks. Ichigo hands the rainbow monkey doll to Number Three. Surprised, Number Three says, “Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you!”

“Okay, what’s the deal?” Number Five asks.

“I just want to give this to the kid, that’s all,” says Ichigo. All of a sudden, the leader of the Hollows appears in front of them. He is a Rainbow Monkey Hollow.

“Ooh, a big rainbow monkey!” squeals Number Three.

“Shut up!” the leader snaps at Number 3. “I can’t stand you kids, and that stupid song too! You think all rainbow monkeys are cute? Well, I got news for you, kid, they’re not.” Number Three was on the verge of tears.

“That’s enough,” Ichigo tells the leader. “There’s nothing wrong with a kid thinking toys are cute and getting joy from them.”

“You think you’re so smart, so self-righteous…I’m going to pulverize you!” the leader threatens Ichigo. The leader tries to attack Ichigo, but Ichigo uses flash step and destroys him quickly.

Later that day, Ichigo says goodbye to Number Three and Number Five.

“What’s your name?” Number Five asks. Ichigo introduces himself, and Number Five says, “My name is Abigail.”

“And my name is Kuki,” says Number Three. “Well, it was nice knowing you two,” Ichigo says. As Ichigo leaves, Abigail thinks to herself, “Ichigo, that’s not a bad name…”

The next day, Ichigo is taking a walk in the forest. As he walks, he thinks about the kids he met the day before. “It’s pretty strange how they were acting,” he thinks to himself. All of a sudden, a teenager sneaks up behind him and tries to attack him with brass knuckles, but Ichigo dodges the attack.

“You’ve got good reflexes, Ichigo” the teenager says.

“Who are you?” Ichigo replies. “And how do you know my name?”

“The name is Brute,” the teenager says. “And with my brass knuckles I’ll show you a thing or two.” With that, Ichigo and Brute start to fight.

Meanwhile, on a Kids Next Door plane, Number Two radios in to Number One.

“How are things in the sky?” Number One asks.

“Everything’s okay,” replies Number Two. Number Two looks out the window, and sees two people fighting in a forest. He pulls out a pair of binoculars to get a closer look.

“Hey, is that the same teenager that was in the football stadium?!” Number Two says.

“I think it is! We have to catch him,” Number One replies. Number Two lands the plane and loads a tranquilizer gun to use on Ichigo. He shoots the tranquilizer at Ichigo, but it misses.

“Sorry, but this is no place for kids. Beat it!” says Brute.

Little did Number Two know, but his little brother Tommy had snuck on to the plane earlier because he wanted to spend time with his big brother. Tommy get off the plane, and sees what is happening between his brother, Ichigo, and Brute. Brute sees Tommy and he smirks.

“Think fast,” Brute says to Ichigo. His brass knuckles glowing, Brute punches the ground. All the trees in the forest start to fall down. One of the trees starts coming right at Tommy, but Ichigo uses flash step to grab him and pull him out of the way. Tommy is safe, but Brute is gone.

“Thanks…you saved my life!” Tommy says to Ichigo.

    “You’re welcome,” Ichigo replies.

“Stay back, Tommy,” Number Two warns.

“But he saved my life,” Tommy says.

“He’s a teenager,” Number Two replies.

    “But he’s different,” Tommy said.

“This is a trap to trust him,” Number Two says.

All of a sudden, Hollows appear from deep in the forest. Ichigo tells Tommy to go with Number Two, and Tommy does. Number Two and Tommy run back to the airplane, but just as they are taking off, a Hollow jumps and grabs the plane’s wing and pulls it back to the ground. He climbs on board and grabs Tommy, but Ichigo chops his hand off, rescuing Tommy for a second time. Ichigo picks up Number Two and Tommy and they escaped from the forest. They make it to the city, but Number Two still doesn’t trust Ichigo.

“Who are you?” Number Two asks Ichigo.

    “I’m Ichigo,” he says.

“And I’m Tommy,” Tommy follows. “And this is my brother, Hoagie.”

“Yeah, yeah,” Number Two says. “You’re going to have to come with us, Ichigo.”

    “Why?” Ichigo asks.

“Because every time you’re around, something strange happens,” Number Two replies.

Suddenly, Brute appears on the street.

“The same goes for you, kid,” Brute says to Number Two.

“Who are you really?” Ichigo demands of Brute.

“Hey, no reason to get snippy,” Brute says. “I’m just here to crack some heads. And also, I’m a friend of Haxis.” Ichigo is shocked.

“What?!” he exclaims. “You’re with Haxis? Who are you people really?”

“That’s enough talk,” Brute says. “It’s time for us to fight, and I have my eyes on you, Ichigo.” Ichigo and Brute fight, and Ichigo quickly wins, knocking Brute down to his knee.

“Well, you’re really strong, I’ll give you that,” Brute said. “But let me ask you a question, Ichigo. Just how many times are you going to save those kids?”

“What do you mean?” Ichigo asks.

“Didn’t Haxis explain to you before? They’re the Kids Next Door. They battle adults and teenagers, and because you and I are teenagers, they think of us as enemies. But you know something? I really don’t care about them. I’m just interested in having a good fight, and you’re one of the strongest fighters I’ve ever met. However, play time is over, and it looks like we’re going to have to fight another time. Goodbye.” With that, Brute escapes back into the forest.

Ichigo walks over to Number Two and Tommy, who were hiding behind a building.

“You can come out now,” Ichigo tells them. “Hoagie, is it? What is this Kids Next Door I’ve heard so much about?”

“We save kids from adulthood,” Number Two says confidently. “And I have orders to capture you, but since you saved my brother twice I’m going to let you go this once. Don’t let me see you again.” Number Two and Tommy start walking away.

“Thanks,” Tommy says over his shoulder.

“Save kids from adulthood?” Ichigo thinks to himself. “Is that what this is all about?”

Meanwhile, Brute is walking into Haxis’ hideout.

“Well, that was fun,” Brute says to Haxis.

“You sure love to fight, don’t you?” Haxis asks.

“What can I say?” Brute replied.,

“Stop messing around, Brute. Don’t you know this is serious?” a 12-year-old with a spiked whip snaps.

“You need to lighten up, kid,” Brute says.

“I’ll lighten up on my own time,” the 12-year-old replies. Another teenager with a bow and arrow joins in.

“Oh, don’t take it personally, kid. You’ll have your time. And sooner or later both the Adults and the Kids Next Door are going to pay…with their lives.”

“Of course they will,” Haxis says. “And our good friend Ichigo Kurosaki will be the key to this world’s destruction. And I love watching things burn!” As he speaks, he stares deeply into the eye on his sword.

The next day Number One is leaving school and he and Number Four are walking home. They meet a young boy named Adam.

    “Hello!” says Adam.

“Hello to you too!” says Number One.

“You’re not with the Kids Next Door, are you?”asks Adam.

“Of course we are!” they reply. “We help kids from evil adults and teenagers” the Kids Next Door respond defensively.

“Is it a teenager who’s been fighting those monsters?” asks Adam.

“We don’t know who he really is,” they explain, “but he is a teenager.”

“You know what the Kids Next Door should have done? They should have killed them all,” expresses Adam.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa! We don’t kill anyone!”

    “Really?” Adam presses.

“Yeah.” Replies Number One. “Now if you’ll excuse us, we have to go home.”

“That kid is crazy.” Number Four scowls while walking away.

Number One and Four return to their tree house. They get back to work on their never ending plans to halt adulthood in its tracks.

“Our mission is to find and stop adults from messing with or hurting kids in any way.” Number One states. “Let’s move out!”

Number One’s team perches on the top of a high building overlooking some adults up to no good.

    “Freeze adults!” shouts Number One.

“This isn’t what it looks like!”replies one adult.

“Save your breath. I see what you’re doing to that kid.”

Unable to recognize him from atop the building, they don’t realize the kid is Adam. Adam smiles and pulls out a giant whip covered with metal spikes. With one strike Adam kills all three adults.

“You didn’t have to do that!” Number one replies, shocked at the child’s strength.

“I should have done that a long time ago,” Adam declares.

    “But it’s wrong!”

“You’re weak,” Adam hisses. “And if you keeping getting in my way, you’ll be next,” he threatens.

Meanwhile Ichigo walks sensing something is wrong. He uses flash step to scale the building quickly. When he reaches the top Adam is mid-strike, knocking Number One to the ground.

“Leave him alone, you freak!” exclaims Number Four. Adam grabbed Number Four by the throat firmly, raising his whip.

    “No, stop!” screams Number One.

Quickly, Ichigo pulls Number Four out of Adam’s grasp. Number Four looks to Ichigo and realizes, “It’s you!”

    “Ichigo Kurosaki.” Adam says.

“How do you know who I am?” Ichigo presses.

Adam replies quickly, “That’s not important”.

“What’s your problem?!” spits Number One.

“You want to know my problem? Fine. I’ll tell you. You Kids Next Door are never around when I ned you. My parents were very abusive to me. I was always picked on by them and other kids. And what do you Kids Next Door do? Nothing!” Adam’s voice rises with anger. “But now, I have power. Power to crush my enemies, and it feels so good!”

“You got picked on, is that what this is all about? Your parents were bad to you?” questions Ichigo. “I get where you’re going, but if you start hurting people, becoming the bully yourself, that’s going too far.”

“So you want to fight?” challenges Adam.

Ichigo and Adam begin to fight. The battle moves quickly and Ichigo easily defeats Adam. Adam breathes hard. Haxis and Brute suddenly appear.

“I told you you should lighten up,” Brute reminds Adam.  Ichigo is shocked.

    “You’re with them?!”

    “That’s right, I’m with them.”

“Don’t go with them!” warns Number One. “Those two are dangerous.”

“The kid is right,” says Ichigo.

“I can make my own decisions,” Adam replies.

“There’s no use in talking him out of it,” says Haxis. “He’s made his choice of his own free will. It’s been fun, but we have to go. Later.”

And with that, Haxis, Brute and Adam escape over the side of the building.

Ichigo isn’t sure what to think.

“We want some answers,” Number One tells Ichigo.

“I want some answers too,” Ichigo replies. “Those weapons you have…they aren’t designed to kill, are they?”

“You’re right,” Number One replies. “They aren’t designed to kill.”

“You don’t trust me because I’m a teenager,” says Ichigo. “What kind of teenagers are you fighting?”

“The Kids Next Door have been fighting adults and teenagers for decades. Teenagers are bullies and need to be stopped,” Number One explains.

“What are the monsters that you fight?” he asks Ichigo.

“Those monsters are called Hollows,” Ichigo says. “They were born from human souls that did not cross over to the other side. They devour the souls of the living and the dead.”

“Do you actually think I’m going to believe that?” Number One asks.

    “That’s the truth,” Ichigo replies.

“He might be right,” Number Four says to Number One.

“That may be,” Number One replies. “But he’s also a teenager.”

“I have a name, you know,” Ichigo says. “It’s Ichigo Kurosaki, and if what you say is true about adults and teenagers, I’m not like them.” With that, Ichigo uses flash step to escape.

“Where’d he go? He just disappeared!” says Number Four.

“We have to move,” says Number One. “The next time we meet, we’ll capture him. He might be as dangerous as Haxis. We’ll be ready for him next time.”

The next day, Ichigo is walking down the street, thinking about the Kids Next Door and Haxis. Suddenly, a bus comes flying down the street, followed by a group of Hollows. Ichigo rushes to the bus and sees that it was being driven by Number Five. Ichigo destroys the Hollows using flash step, and then uses flash step again to get inside the bus. He finds Number Three, Number Four, Number Two, and Sonia riding in the back of the bus.

“Ichigo, what are you doing here?” asks Sonia.

“I could say the same thing about you,” Ichigo replies.

“Number 83, why are you talking to a teenager?” Number Four asks Sonia.

“Well…he saved my life,” Sonia replies.

“Wait…you’re one of the Kids Next Door?” asks Ichigo .

     “Yes, I am,” says Sonia.

While they are talking, Number Five looks out the window and sees a teenager pointing a bow and arrow at Ichigo’s head. She shoots the arrow, but it misses and hits the bus’ tire instead. Number Five pulls the bus to the side of the road and Ichigo and the Kids Next Door get out.

“Blasted! I missed,” says the teenager. “But at least I hit a tire!” She laughs and starts skipping down the road.

“Who are you?” Ichigo asks her.

“My name is Mela,” the teenager replies.

“Are you the one who made these Hollows?” Ichigo asks Mela.

    “Maybe, maybe not,” she teases.

“Are you here for me?” asks Ichigo.

“That’s right,” she says. “And I’ve got my eye on you, Ichigo.”

“Can you do me a favor?” Ichigo says to Number Five.

    “What?” Number Five asks.

    “Can you protect Sonia?”

“You don’t have to tell us twice,” Number Five says.

“Thanks, Abigail,” Ichigo replies. The kids escape down the street on foot, leaving Ichigo and Mela to fight.

“How does he know about you, Number Five?” Number Two asks.

“It’s a long story,” says Number Five.

“Are you with Haxis?” Ichigo asks Mela.

    “That’s right,” Mela says.

“Then I know what I must do now,” Ichigo states. “I must take you down.”

“Once I’ve got my eye on someone, I’ll just keep looking for him until he’s dead,” Mela threatens. Ichigo and Mela start to fight. Mela shoots arrow after arrow at Ichigo, but he dodges each one. She points her bow toward the sky, and shoots an arrow into the air. It multiplies, and arrows began to rain down onto Ichigo. Ichigo uses flash step to avoid the arrows, as he and Mela continue to move around each other.

“You’re a really fast guy,” Mela says. “But I can hit a moving target.” Mela loads her bow and shoots a special arrow towards Ichigo. Ichigo moves away in time, but every time he dodges it, it follows him.

“You can’t dodge this one!”  says Mela. “This arrow will keep following you until it hits its target.” That gives Ichigo an idea.

“If I can’t dodge it, I’ll lure it to a new target,” thinks Ichigo. Ichigo moves next to Mela. The arrow follows Ichigo, but instead of hitting Ichigo it hits Mela directly. The arrow explodes, but Mela is gone!

“Where did she go?!” Ichigo wonders.

All of a sudden, a sandstorm blows onto the street. Ichigo covers his eyes to protect them as he runs to get away from the sand. He runs and runs, and eventually makes it through the sandstorm. When he opens his eyes, he sees a playground. There are no adults to be seen, just kids.

“Wow,” Ichigo thinks to himself. “Looks like those kids are having fun.” He turns to leave, but he hears the children start to scream. He looks back and sees Hollows approaching the playground. One of the Hollows grabs a child. He is about to devour the child when Ichigo chops his arm off.

“A Soul Reaper? Here?!” the Hollow says.

“It’s just one Soul Reaper,” says another.

“You’ve got some nerve doing that to a kid,” says Ichigo. “Now thanks to you, this kid’s going to have nightmares.” Ichigo destroys the Hollows one by one.

He turns to leave, but a kid yells, “Wait up, mister! You saved us.”

“Thanks,” Ichigo replies. He sits down with the kids.

“Sorry about what happened to the playground,” Ichigo says.

“It’s okay,” one of the kids explains. “We can build another one.”

“Do you know a group called the Kids Next Door?” Ichigo asks the kid.

“Yes, they help other kids with their problems,” the kid replies.

“That’s good,” says Ichigo. “This world has a lot of problems. Do you have any brothers or sisters?” Ichigo asks. “No, I’m an only child,” the kid says. “But I’ve always wanted to have a brother or a sister.”

“Even if they were a teenager?” asks Ichigo.

“Of course,” the kid says. “It doesn’t really matter if you’re an adult or a teenager…you should always do the right thing. I learned that from Number One.”

“Number One?” asks Ichigo. “That’s not really his name, is it?”

“No, his real name is Nigel Uno. One time he saved me from a bunch of bullies.”

    “That’s amazing,” exclaims Ichigo.

“Without the Kids Next Door, this place would be overrun with bullies,” the kid continues.

“Well, we can’t have that, can we?” says Ichigo. Ichigo gets up to leave. “Thank you,” the kid says, waving goodbye.

Meanwhile, at the moon base of the Kids Next Door, Number One is with Number 362. Number 362 wants to know what happened.

“A kid named Adam was with a teenager named Haxis,” explains Number One.  Number 362 is shocked. “Did you say Haxis?”

    “Yes, do you know him?”

“That’s not important,” snaps Number 362. “I wanted to know about the other teenager.”

“His name was Ichigo,” explains Number One. “I’ve never seen him before, he claims he’s not like the rest of the teenagers. Do you think that’s true?”

“We can’t take that chance,” Number 362 says sternly. “You’re dismissed.”

Back on Earth, Numbers 2, 3, 4, 5 and Sonia are strolling down the street thinking about Ichigo. Suddenly, Adam appears, grabbing Sonia by the throat. Number Four tries to save Sonia, but Brute grabs Number Four by his wrists. Number Two, Three and Five go to help, but Adam yells, “Don’t move! Or I’ll snap her skull in half.”

Haxis and Mela appear at the scene on foot. “What do you want?” Number Five asks Haxis.

“I have a message for Ichigo,” explains Haxis. “If you want to see this kid alive again in one piece, you’ll have to go to the island. I know you don’t like teenagers, but you’ll have to swallow your pride. Here’s your map.” Haxis tosses a crisp, folded map at their feet.

“Farewell,” says Haxis as he and his gang disappear.

“What are we gonna do?” says Number Two.

“What we have to do,” replies Number Five.

Meanwhile, Ichigo is walking. Number 2, 3, 4 & 5 run towards him breathing heavily.

    “What’s wrong?” askes Ichigo.

    “It’s Haxis, he got Sonia!”

    “What?!” screams Ichigo.

“He gave us this map,” Number two says, unfolding the paper. The map shows a small island surrounded by water.

“He said if we want her back in one piece we have to go here,” Number Four says, pointing to the island on the map.

“Show me where we can find this island,” says Ichigo.

They head to their plane and fly straight to the coordinates leading to the island, but it was overrun with both teenagers and adults.

“So these are the teenagers they talking about,” Ichigo says to the Kids Next Door, seated around him on the plane.

“What are you gonna do?” Number Two asks Ichigo.

“I’m just going to have to sneak in, grab Sonia and get out of here quick.”

“All by yourself? Are you nuts?!” says Number Four.

“If that’s what it takes to save her,” says Ichigo.

Ichigo uses Flash Step to land on the island while the plane circles above. He hides in the jungle and waits. On the island The Steve, the leader of the teenagers, and Father are with an adult named Drake.

“Everything is going to plan,” says Father. “Once we learn to control these monsters we can destroy The Kids Next Door. Adults will finally rule the world!”

“Speak for yourself,” Drake thinks to himself.

While they talk, a boat comes ashore and docks on the Island. It is Number One followed by two scientists named Numbers 71.562 and 74.239. They jump from their boat, land on shore and walk towards the jungle. They set up camp there, hidden from danger.

“There’s been a lot of adults and teenagers here,” Number one says to the scientists.

“They must be working on something big, I bet it has to do with those monsters,” says Number 71.562.

“I’ll go on ahead,” says Number One, marching bravely into the jungle.

Ichigo leaves his hiding place and moves deeper into the jungle searching for Sonia. It is not long before Ichigo and Number One see each other in the jungle.

    “YOU!” yells Number One.

“We don’t have time for this,” says Ichigo. “There’s a little girl in danger.”

“Spare me your lies,” says Number One. “You teenagers think you’re so smart, but I can see through you. Did you actually think you could trick me?”

“I really don’t care what you think about me,” says Ichigo. “Someone’s life is in danger. You either help me, or get out of the way.” Ichigo turns his back to Number One and starts walking away.

“I have a better idea,” says Number One. “I’ll just capture you.”

Ichigo looks back at Number One right as he is hit by Number One’s blaster. Ichigo dodges the blast, but Number One kepts blasting Ichigo.

“This is pointless,” says Ichigo. “You’re never going to shoot me.”

“I’ll keep shooting you until I hit you,” Number One replies. “What’s with this guy?” Number One thinks to himself. “The way he moves and fights…where did he learn to fight like that?”

“I don’t have time for this,” Ichigo says to Number One.

“Hold it! I’m not done with you,” Number One says. Ichigo sees a Hollow behind Number One and used Flash Step to move behind Number One and kill the Hollow.

“About the Kids Next Door and everything you stand for, I get it. The little girl is named Sonia, and she’s also with the Kids Next Door. This is your chance to help a kid in need.” Number One reluctantly lets Ichigo go.

Ichigo runs to the teenagers’ base and finds Sonia, sleeping, in chains on the roof of the base. Brute is standing over her.

“Well, you were right, Ichigo. Just as Haxis suspected, you’ve come,” says Brute.

“What have you done to her?” Ichigo demands. Brute cracks his knuckles.

“Oh, she’s fine,” Brute says. “But if you really want to save her, you’re going to have to fight me.”

“I’m going to wipe that smug look off your face,” Ichigo replies. Ichigo and Brute begin to fight. Ichigo is able to block Brute’s attacks, and he shoves Brute into the wall.

“Is that all you’ve got?” Ichigo asks. “I think it’s time for you to throw in the towel.”

“You want the kid?” Brute asks. “You can have her.” He punches the chains holding Sonia so hard that she starts to fall off the roof. Ichigo quickly runs to her and grabs her before she hits the ground. As he grabs her, Sonia wakes up.

“Ichigo?” she says. “Where am I?”

“It’s okay, Sonia,” Ichigo says. He looked over and notices that Brute is gone.

    “What’s happening?” Sonia asks.

“You’ve been captured, but I’m going to get you out of here.” Ichigo breaks the chains and he and Sonia leave the base.

As they run away from the base, they are confronted by a group of teenagers and adults.

“Hey, it’s that punk who beat us up!” one of the adults says.

    “Not you guys,” Ichigo groans.

“Get him!” one of the teenagers cries.

“Get out of the way!” Ichigo says. From inside the base, Brute and Adam watch the confrontation.

“These losers are not going to do it,” Adam says.

“That’s where you come in,” Brute says. “All he needs is just a little push, don’t you think, Adam?”

“You don’t have to tell me that,” Adam replies. Adam leaves the base.

Meanwhile, Ichigo is doing a good job of protecting Sonia in the fight. Adam walks into the fray holding his whip. He moves behind a teenager and uses his whip to hit Sonia. Ichigo is shocked.

“No, Sonia!!” Ichigo cries. One of the teenagers starts to laugh.

“Boo hoo, his little friend got hurt.” Ichigo is getting angrier and angrier.

“YOU PUNKS!” he yells. “She’s just a kid! People like you make me sick! That’s it! I’m not going to show any mercy on you people! There won’t be a hair left on any of you.” His anger is so strong that he transforms into a Hollow. The adults and teenagers are shocked and terrified. Adam leaves the battlefield.

“These guys are as good as dead,” he says. “And good riddance.” Hollow Ichigo gives a roar.

Drake is watching the battle field, smiling. “Alright adult” says Number One, “The game is over.”

“On the contrary,” drake replies. “I’ve already won. Take a good look.”

Number one watches the battle field as the Hallow Ichigo destroys the adults and teenagers.

“What is that?” Number One asks.

    “That’s Ichigo’s Hallow power.”

    “What?!” Number One replies.

“That’s right” says Drake, “Because those idiots hurt that girl over there.”

“Even that’s true, those adults and teenagers are being destroyed. Are you with them?” questions Number One.

“That’s right,” says Drake, ”But to be honest, I really do want to see them die.”

    “You’re crazy” snaps Number One.

“And you’re welcome,” Quickly replies Drake.

    “For what?” asks Number One?

“For eliminating these moronic adults and teenagers.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about” says Number One.

    “Oh really,” questions Drake.
